Wajeez by Kiducate

Privacy Policy

Wajeez compresses your photos and documents on your device. There is no account, and your files are never uploaded to Kiducate or to anyone else.

Effective date

This Privacy Policy applies to the Wajeez app for iOS and Android and to related Kiducate web pages. Last updated: August 3, 2026.

What Wajeez does

Wajeez reduces the file size of photos so they fit the upload limits imposed by visa portals, government forms, and exam registration systems. You choose a target size, and the app compresses the photo to fit underneath it.

All of this happens on your device. Kiducate does not operate a server that receives, processes, or stores your files.

Account requirement

Wajeez does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address to use the app.

Your photos

When you select a photo, the app reads it into memory on your device, compresses it locally, and writes the result back to your device. Nothing is transmitted off the device at any point in that process.

Your original files are never modified. Wajeez always produces a new compressed copy and leaves the original untouched.

While compressing, the app writes temporary working files to your device's private temporary storage. These are deleted as soon as the operation finishes, whether it succeeds, fails, or is cancelled.

Device permissions

PermissionWhy it is needed
Photo library (read)To let you select the photo you want to compress.
Photo library (add)To save the compressed copy back to your photo library when you choose to save it.

Wajeez does not request access to your camera, location, contacts, calendar, microphone, or health data. On Android, the app declares no runtime permissions at all and uses the system photo picker instead.

What is stored on your device

Wajeez keeps a small amount of information locally so the app works correctly between launches:

  • Whether you have unlocked the app with a purchase, and how many free exports you have used.
  • A history of your most recent exports — limited to the last 10 entries. Each entry records only the date, the mode used, the number of files, and the sizes before and after. No image or document content is stored in this history.
  • Your language preference and app settings.

None of this is transmitted anywhere. It stays in the app's own storage on your device.

A note on purchase records surviving uninstall

So that a paid unlock is not lost if you reinstall the app, Wajeez stores your purchase status in the system keychain — Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android. On iOS this record is deliberately retained by the operating system when the app is deleted, so that reinstalling restores your purchase without you having to contact us.

This record contains only a purchase status and a count of free exports used. It contains no personal information, no file content, and nothing that identifies you. If you want it removed, see "Deleting your data" below.

Purchases

Wajeez offers an optional one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited exports. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. Kiducate never sees or stores your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID or Google account credentials. The app only receives a confirmation of whether a purchase exists.

Analytics

Wajeez uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous product analytics. TelemetryDeck does not track IP addresses and does not build user profiles or advertising identifiers.

The app sends only the following events, and nothing else:

  • app_open, mode_selected, preset_selected
  • compression_completed, compression_failed
  • export_completed, free_export_used, result_card_shared
  • paywall_shown, paywall_dismissed
  • purchase_initiated, purchase_completed
  • portal_guide_used, use_case_selected

These events carry technical values such as a target size in kilobytes, a savings percentage, or whether an operation succeeded. They never include your photos, your documents, file names, or any content from them.

Advertising and tracking

Wajeez contains no advertising, no advertising SDKs, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier and does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, because it does not track you.

Third parties we use

Google PlayProcessing purchases on AndroidHandled entirely by Google under Google's own privacy policy.
TelemetryDeckAnonymous product analyticsThe anonymous events listed above. No IP address, no profile, no file content.

Wajeez does not use any other analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, or advertising service.

Sharing your compressed files

When you tap share, the app hands the compressed file to your operating system's standard share sheet. From that point you decide where it goes. Wajeez does not transmit the file itself and has no visibility into what you do with it afterwards.

Children

Wajeez is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Because Wajeez stores nothing on a server, there is no account to close and no data for us to delete on your behalf.

Deleting the app removes its local storage, including your export history and settings. On iOS, the keychain record described above may persist after deletion so your purchase can be restored; to remove it as well, delete the app and then reset your keychain via your device settings, or contact us at support@kiducate.eu and we will explain the steps for your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
