Dürer is unlocked with a single one-time purchase — no subscription, nothing renews. These terms cover the purchase, the licence, your imported images, and the limits of what the app does.
These terms cover your use of Dürer, an iPhone app published by Kiducate. Dürer is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase. There is no subscription and no advertising; section 2 covers the purchase, restoring it, and refunds.
Kiducate grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Dürer on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, sublicense or redistribute the app, or attempt to reverse-engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
Dürer is free to download. After two introductory screens, using it requires a one-time in-app purchase, Dürer Lifetime Unlock: US $19.99 in the United States — Apple sets the price in other countries, and the app shows yours before you buy. Once unlocked, there is no usage limit, and importing your own photographs is included.
Payment. The purchase is charged by Apple to your Apple Account when you confirm it. Kiducate never receives your payment details.
It does not renew. The unlock is a non-consumable purchase, not a subscription. You are not charged again, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel.
Restoring it. The purchase belongs to the Apple Account that made it. On a new or reset device signed in to that account, tap Restore purchase on the purchase screen.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled under Apple's policies and Kiducate cannot issue or reverse one. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Photographs you import remain yours. They are processed and displayed on your device and never transmitted to us, so we neither hold nor claim any rights over them. You are responsible for having the right to use any image you import, including where it is protected by copyright.
The images built into Dürer are a separate matter. They are original to Kiducate — drawn by our own script, not sourced or licensed from anyone — and released under CC0 1.0. Anything you draw from one of them is yours to keep, publish or sell, with no credit required.
That applies to the built-in images only. Tracing a photograph you imported does not give you rights you did not already have in it.
Dürer displays a reference image over a live camera view so you can trace onto paper beneath your device. It does not project an image onto a surface. It is a drawing aid, and the result depends on your setup, lighting and technique.
Position your device so that it cannot fall onto you, your work surface or anyone nearby. Kiducate is not responsible for damage or injury caused by an unstable stand or propping arrangement.
Dürer is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Kiducate is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
