Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using the app, and before purchasing a single export or the monthly plan.

These Terms of Use apply to the Instant Passport & ID Photo iOS app. Last updated: August 3, 2026.

Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using this app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

Kiducate grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use this app on devices you own or control, solely to create your own document photos. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.

What the app offers

You can build and preview a document photo for free — the preview carries a watermark. Two purchase options remove the watermark and let you export at full quality:

  • Single export — a one-time, consumable purchase that unlocks one full-quality export, including its print sheet. It can be bought again each time you need another export; it does not renew and does not grant ongoing access.
  • Monthly plan — an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly, that includes up to 10 full-quality exports per calendar month for as long as the subscription is active.

Subscription terms (monthly plan)

If you choose the monthly plan:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription automatically renews for the same length and price each month unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings on your device — this app and Kiducate cannot cancel it on your behalf.
  • The monthly plan includes up to 10 full-quality exports per calendar month; the count resets at the start of each new calendar month and unused exports do not carry over.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Payments and refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Kiducate does not handle your payment details and does not process refunds directly — refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's own refund policies, including for the monthly subscription.

Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, or through your purchase history in your Apple ID account settings. If something is not working as described, please contact us first at support@kiducate.eu — we would rather fix the problem.

Restoring purchases

The single export is a consumable purchase and, by Apple's own design, cannot be restored once it has been used to complete an export. If a purchase is lost before you use it — for example after reinstalling the app — use Restore Purchases in the app's help screen; the app checks your recent purchase history and recovers any credit purchased but not yet spent. The monthly subscription can always be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

Your photo and the background-removal step

Producing a document photo requires uploading your photo to a third-party background-removal service through Kiducate's server, for both previews and paid exports. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent and what is stored. By using the app you consent to this upload as part of how the app functions.

Your content

Your photos remain yours. You are responsible for having the right to use any photo you process, including a photo of another person, and for the accuracy of the document type you select.

No acceptance guarantee

This app is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government entity. It follows publicly published size and background specifications for each document type, but it does not guarantee that a photo will be accepted by any government portal, embassy, or authority — final acceptance is decided by the body you submit it to, and requirements can change without notice.

Disclaimer of warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kiducate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including a rejected application, a missed deadline, or a lost photo credit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to the app and to these terms

Kiducate may update, change, or discontinue features of the app over time. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence and the jurisdiction in which Kiducate operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local law requires otherwise.
